Business conduct risk data provider RepRisk has been selected by global intelligence and artificial intelligence solutions firm FactSet as its preferred partner to supply sustainable investing data solutions across investment and finance workflows.
The expanded agreement allows FactSet clients to engage directly with RepRisk to access risk intelligence solutions designed to complement FactSet’s existing suite of sustainable investing offerings. The partnership aims to support diverse investment processes, including research, due diligence, portfolio management, quantitative strategies, stewardship, and continuous risk monitoring. The move deepens a long-standing collaboration between the two firms, with RepRisk data having been accessible through FactSet distribution channels since 2012.
Philipp Aeby, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of RepRisk, noted that financial professionals require auditable data to identify business conduct risks before they affect portfolio performance. He added that the collaboration provides FactSet clients with transparent, human-led AI risk intelligence that can be validated and defended.
Eric Weitzman, Senior Vice President and Senior Director of Data Partnerships at FactSet, stated that deepening the partnership with RepRisk enhances FactSet’s portfolio with complementary capabilities, helping clients make informed investment decisions within a complex market environment.
The partnership comes as financial institutions encounter growing operational and financial pressure to manage business conduct risks effectively. A recent study conducted by RepRisk alongside Oxford Economics, surveying over 500 C-suite executives across banks, asset managers, and asset owners globally, revealed that major business conduct risk incidents cost an average of $14 million, with potential annual exposure exceeding $43 million. Surveyed executives highlighted the loss of key clients, investors, and assets under management as primary consequences alongside regulatory penalties and brand damage.
RepRisk utilizes a combination of artificial intelligence and human expertise built upon two decades of human-labelled data to monitor risk profiles across more than 350,000 public and private companies. In addition to partner integration through platforms like FactSet, RepRisk delivers its datasets via a dedicated web platform, direct data feeds, and application programming interfaces (APIs).
