Diginex appoints human rights expert Archana Kotecha as Chief Impact Officer

Diginex Limited (NASDAQ: DGNX), a provider of ESG, sustainability, and compliance solutions, has announced the appointment of Archana Kotecha as its new Chief Impact Officer.

The appointment follows Diginex’s acquisition of The Remedy Project—a human rights consultancy founded by Kotecha—in January 2026. The move is part of the technology firm’s broader strategy to enhance its supply chain due diligence capabilities and provide integrated compliance solutions amid tightening global regulations.

In her new role, Kotecha will lead the integration of advisory expertise across Diginex’s digital supply chain and compliance platforms. She is tasked with helping corporate and institutional clients navigate evolving regulatory, investor, and stakeholder expectations regarding human rights and labor standards.

A UK-qualified barrister and CEDR-accredited mediator, Kotecha brings nearly two decades of experience advising multinational corporations, governments, UN agencies, and institutional investors across Asia and global markets. Her expertise spans the design of scalable operational grievance mechanisms, independent investigations, worker engagement, and remediation systems.

Kotecha’s work in the human rights sector has earned international recognition, including being named among the Financial Times’ Top Ten Innovative Lawyers in the Asia Pacific region.

She remains actively engaged in global policy, serving as a member of the European Commission’s Informal Expert Group on Forced Labor, a steering committee member of the Responsible Labor Initiative under the Responsible Business Alliance, and an Alternative Legal Expert to the UN Intergovernmental Working Group on Business and Human Rights.

“Archana’s appointment as Chief Impact Officer further strengthens Diginex’s ability to support clients as they navigate an increasingly complex sustainability and regulatory landscape,” said Lubomila Jordanova, CEO of Diginex. “Under her leadership, we are better positioned to ensure client engagements translate into decisions, action, and measurable outcomes.”

The appointment comes at a critical time for multinational corporations facing strict new supply chain transparency laws in Europe and North America. Kotecha emphasized that the commercial viability of modern enterprises depends heavily on practical, data-driven compliance frameworks.

“Effective due diligence depends on practical systems, frontline insight, and the ability to translate evolving regulatory expectations into meaningful day-to-day operations,” Kotecha said. “I look forward to partnering with clients to build credible and scalable approaches that strengthen worker protections while addressing commercial, regulatory, and operational realities.”
