GreenCo ESG Advisory Limited has launched a specialized ESG data collection and processing solution designed to improve the accuracy, consistency, and auditability of corporate sustainability disclosures.
The digital platform bridges the gap between raw source documents—such as utility bills, fuel logs, procurement invoices, and operational records—and audit-ready ESG datasets.
As regulatory frameworks and external assurance mandates expand globally, the tool establishes a clear, traceable link between underlying operational records and reported sustainability figures.
Key functional capabilities and operational features include:
- Automated document extraction: Extracts data directly from electricity, water, fuel, and procurement documents submitted via digital intake forms.
- Batch processing & conversion: Processes 10 to 20 files simultaneously per batch, automatically handling multi-language entries and standardising custom unit metrics (e.g. converting packaging quantities into metric tonnes).
- Auditable calculation trails: Generates transparent calculation breakdown steps showing source inputs, applied conversion factors, and mathematical formulas to support internal reviews and third-party verification.
- Customised scope alignment: Configured by GreenCo’s advisory team to reflect a company’s specific reporting boundaries, metrics, and internal controls rather than acting as a generic data entry tool.
Max Tsang, Director and Co-Founder of GreenCo, stated that as external assurance requirements tighten across key jurisdictions, maintaining an auditable trail back to original source records is essential to ensuring overall reporting integrity.
Stephanie Chan, Principal Consultant and Co-Owner of GreenCo, noted that the platform reduces manual administrative overheads, enabling compliance teams to focus on data review and gap identification rather than manual spreadsheet entry.
Alongside the data platform, the advisory firm has launched the GreenCo ESG Action Toolkit mobile app, providing practical educational resources and regulatory updates for sustainability professionals.
